In 1994, Jason Kidd entered the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks as their number one draft pick. Kidd took the league by storm, earning co-Rookie of the Year honors with Detroit sensation grant Hill. In the middle 1996-1997 season, Kidd was traded to the Phoenix Suns. From the Suns, Kidd moved to the New jersey Nets and in 2008 returned to Dallas to play for the Mavericks once again.
